LAC 200 – ‘the largest standard air oil cooler in the class’ (Nov 2010)

Olaer Fawcett Christie has added a large LAC 200 air oil cooler to its wide range of standard products. Graham Miller, Managing Director of Olaer Fawcett Christie comments that, due to increasing demand for high capacity cooling the company has launched the LAC 200 series; claimed to be the first cooler of its size to be produced as part of a standard cooler range. The new LAC 200 range has a cooling capacity of 300 kW at ΔT 40degC and has been designed taking into consideration the particular requirements of strength, power and durability required for hydraulic drive systems in industrial heavy duty applications. Design features include:

 
·          Compact design and low weight.
 
·          Easy to maintain and easy to retrofit in many applications.
 
·          Quiet fan and fan motor.
 
·          AC motor single-phase for smaller and three-phase for larger cooler sizes.
 
·          Cooler Matrix with low pressure drop and high cooling capacity.
 
·          Available with 6 or 8 pole AC motor.
