Renner Scroll-line compressors – ‘oil-free compressed air in its purest form’ (Oct 2010)

Renner has launched its new Scroll-line range of compressors, claimed to offer pure oil-free compressed air. The company reports that this new offering is not only applicable for use in the medical and dental technology; an increased demand for oil-free compressed air is also required in, for example, clean room technology, breweries, water purification and process engineering. Renner adds that an increasing number of users are favouring equipment without lubrication and points out that it has been investing in the development of this type of technology for a number of years – the water injected compressor series RSW up to 90 kW, for example.

The Scroll-line range is the latest family of oil-free Renner compressors. The process of compression is achieved by means of a fixed and eccentrically revolving spiral. Any contact is thereby eliminated, ensuring a reliable operation with low wear. The latest addition to the Scroll-line family is a super silenced version. The company points out that this model can be installed directly within the working area due to its extremely low noise level of 52 dB(A) only.
 
Renner Scroll-line compressors are available up to 16.5 kW with pressures up to10 bar and are available with base-plate and receiver mounted. They are also obtainable as full-feature options and multiple units (three compressor heads).
