Italian pneumatics manufacturer Pneumax has appointed Hampshire-based Wessex Fluid Power (UK) as a main distributor for its range of pneumatic components in the South of England. Pneumax SPA, which has recently acquired a controlling interest in its UK operation, has appointed Wessex Fluid Power as part of a new sales strategy for the UK market. With the implementation of a new operating system and the installation of new CNC machinery, Pneumax believes it is well placed for the future.
Wessex Fluid Power was originally formed in 2003, predominately as a provider of pneumatic solutions, and has seen significant growth since developing its hydraulic business. Mark Richards, Wessex Fluid Power sales director and former Pneumax employee, attributes the company’s success to a rapid response and flexible attitude, helping to encourage good business with customers and suppliers alike. “With the backing of one of the major pneumatic manufacturers we are all looking forward to a bright future,” he added.
