25 August, 2022

AirTAC has introduced the new 6D series of valves with multipolar connection to the European market.

Flexibility, efficiency, cost saving, and energetic restraint are all concepts we face daily at work and in our everyday life. With the 6D series AirTAC listened to the requests from the market and developed a product with high technical specifications, which can be used in several applications by maintaining a well-known price/quality relationship.

The product is currently available in 3 sizes:

Size,0500, with flow rate of around 200 nl/min

Size 100 with flowrate of around 500 nl/min

Size 200 with flowrate of around 750 nl/min

According to AirTAC, all the sizes guarantee low power consumption, equal to 0.9W. The available voltages are 24VDC and a12VDC. AirTAC states that the starting voltage is very low and the activation time is lower than 0.05 seconds, which is claimed to guaranteed a long life span.

Currently, the 6D series is available with the multipolar connection through the D-SUB 25 pin connector and can be implemented with fieldbus for wider usage possibilities. First to be made available are Profinet and Ethernet/IP, which are among the most common protocols in Europe. Other standards such as I/O Link are scheduled to follow.
