BPMA reaches record membership number
The British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) – the organisation which represents the business interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps and related pumping equipment - has further increased its membership to a record number of 98 companies.
The most recent company to recognise the benefits of membership is Hertford based, non-metallic material and component failure specialist, Polymeric Material Failure Consultants Ltd.
Understanding polymeric material and component failure can be critical to operational reliability as well as the health and safety of personnel. PMFC provides an independent failure investigation service that combines material identification and component damage characterisation, alongside its broad knowledge of engineering hardware, to provide a reliable root cause failure analysis service. The company uses a range of in-house laboratory techniques to verify the identification and post service condition of polymeric materials and components against the OEM specification.

Today, Megator has an enviable reputation across the globe for manufacturing innovative and unique positive displacement pumps and pollution control solutions for some of the harshest environments, including marine, mining and general industry, where applications continually exceed customer expectations.

Their respective skillsets and competencies interlink nicely with other members, and we look forward to a developing strong and mutually rewarding relationships with each of them over the coming months."
He added, “To reach a complement of 98 members is really quite something, and testament to the work we undertake on behalf of our members and the wider pump industry, but I now very much look forward to announcing the fantastic milestone of 100 BPMA members before too long!”
