PPK Services acquires Kingsley Commercial Components

PPK Services Ltd has acquired Kingsley Commercial Components from owner Jim Hughes who is retiring after nearly 40 years in the industry. The Kingsley site in Broad Street, Guildford in Surrey, has been relocated to PPK’s Aldershot site.


Established in 1999, PPK Services specialises in hydraulic cylinders, pumps and accumulators. It can manufacture new bespoke cylinders in-house to customers’ exact requirements. A complete cylinder repair service is also offered, with PPK’s own vans available for collection and delivery if required. PPK a dedicated Municipal division, offering new and service exchange cylinders, pumps and PTOs to suit all makes of refuse collection vehicles.

PPK is a Parker-approved accumulator recertification and service centre, with fully trained specialist engineers to work safely on hydraulic accumulators and pressure systems. The company can supply many makes and types of new pumps, or overhaul customers’ existing units in house. PPK is the UK agent for French company Pronal, with its wide range of flexible separators and elastomer products.

Acquisitions

Over the years PPK has acquired a number of companies that have been integrated into the business. These include Hampshire Technical Supplies, F&W Industrial Supplies and Blackwater Hydraulics.

Now established as one of the leading hydraulics companies in its specialist fields, it operates its business from modern premises in Aldershot, with full in-house manufacturing, refurbishment and test facilities and a well-stocked hose and fitting trade counter. PPK Services is BS EN ISO9001:2015 approved and is a member of the British Fluid Power Distributors Association (BFPDA).
