06 May, 2020

MP Filtri UK says its new appointments will aid its ambitious growth plans The company has appointed Geoff Carson as its new product applications manager. Taking on a new role for the company, Carson will work on developing new products, opening up previously untapped markets, and promoting MP Filtri’s range of Tailored Engineering Design solutions.

Carson brings a wealth of technical sales and product knowledge after a career spanning more than 30 years with some of the UK’s most successful engineering and technology firms. With a strong focus on the European sector, his role will see him be supporting the sales initiatives of MP Filtri’s UK sales team as well as its branch partners in the key markets of Germany, France, Italy and Scandinavia. Carson will also be developing full training support programmes for customers and offering advanced technical guidance on bespoke customer requirements and builds.

MP Filtri UK managing director Phil Keep says: “Geoff will play a key role in shaping our product development for the future and opening up new markets and opportunities for MP Filtri. His wide-ranging sales experience and detailed knowledge of the engineering industry will support our ambitious plans for future growth.”

MP Filtri has appointed James Reilly as its new area sales manager for South West and Midlands. James studied engineering before embarking on a sales career in hydraulics and filtration and brings more than 10 years’ experience and technical expertise to his new role.

MP Filtri’s UK sales director Chris Durkin comments that the appointment will help the company manage strong sales growth and ensure customers continue to receive exceptional support. “MP Filtri is currently enjoying record sales with growing opportunities for both our filtration and contamination monitoring products and James will play a crucial role in our ongoing success,” he says.

Durkin continues: “James is excited about this new challenge and I am confident his enthusiasm and experience of the industry will help him forge excellent relationships with his new customers.”
