SOLVING THE PROBLEM
MANFLEX was approached by one of its customers, a major OEM, to resolve an issue in fitting one of its hose assemblies into position. Movement in the application caused the assembly to twist and abrasion occurred with possible failure.
Standard fittings were originally tried but proved costly and inadequate. Manflex in collaboration with its supplier, a leading European manufacturer of swivel joints, jointly resolved the issue, by supplying an extended version of the standard joint, which cleared all obstructions and presented a clear working area for the assemblies. Customer and supplier working together achieved satisfaction.
