Argo-Hytos expands and strengthens UK operations
Rotherham-based Argo-Hytos Ltd. – a daughter company of the global Argo-Hytos brand – has acquired the ongoing business of Mykro Hydraulic Distributors Ltd., the Huddersfield-based bcspoke manifold and power unit manufacturer. The complete portfolio of Mykro Hydraulics products will be incorporated into Argo-Hytos Ltd.’s UK and Ireland business operations.
To accommodate this expansion, the combined operations will be located at Argo-Hytos Ltd.’s newly enlarged premises in Rotherham, with all Mykro Hydraulics personnel and machinery being re-located into this facility over the coming few weeks.
For near two decades Mykro Hydraulic Distributors has used the quality products that the Argo-Hytos group can offer into the systems and power units that they build. Argo-Hytos Ltd. reports that this business will be continued, strengthened and will form a key part of the business going forward in both power unit and manifold production; so ensuring no loss of continuity of supply to any customers.
The company adds that the synergy of aligning the two businesses provides re-assurance to Mykro Hydraulic Distributors’ customers, with continued service excellence, supply and support of tried and proven products while bringing to Argo-Hytos Ltd new business opportunities that will be a positive ongoing development for all concerned.
Argo-Hytos Ltd. adds that its ability to design and manufacture manifolds in-house in the UK ensures that it can meet its growing customer requirements in rapid prototyping and also provide entry into the medium to large power unit market, which is ideally suited to its product portfolio.
