hydraPower dynamics moves into OEM sector

A drive into the original equipment market has been launched by hydraPower dynamics, which has established a new company; hydraPower dynamics OEM. The OEM business has recruited Phil Harrison and Frank Ganley, both well-known in the hydraulics sector. Harrison comes in as managing director and Ganley as sales manager, both reporting to Patrick Browne, managing director of the hydrapower dynamics group.
HydraPower dynamics is based at Ladywood, Birmingham, and specialises in the supply of fluid power solutions including high pressure hoses, manipulated tubes, moulded hoses, shaped nylon tubes, swaging equipment. Its operation at Aldridge, Staffordshire, designs and builds surface coating plant. HydraPower dynamics OEM operates from the Ladywood site.
The surface coatings business has completed a number of projects for the aerospace industry during the past two years and is looking to increase its presence in that market with other products already supplied by the group. HydraPower dynamics already has a presence in the OEM market but through the new company it is looking to significantly increase its activities in the sector.
