Moog invites SPS/IPC Drives Show visitors to experience motion control excellence

19 November, 2012

Moog Industrial Group, a division of Moog Inc., will be demonstrating a selection of its latest motion control developments at this year’s SPS IPC Drives exhibition for electric automation technology, taking place in the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre from November 27 to 29. The company is exhibiting under the banner “Experience motion control excellence,” on Stand 308 in Hall 3.

Moog designs and manufactures high-performance motion control solutions for a variety of industrial applications, including plastics, metal forming, power generation, steel production, test and simulation, wind energy, motorsport and others.

Moog will also be holding a series of exclusive “Meet the Experts” sessions on motion control during the SPS IPC Drives exhibition. Participants will be able to get information on the company’s latest developments in electromechanical and hydraulic/electric hybrid solutions, and exchange ideas in depth, in private, on new technology issues and trends.

Sherif El-Henaoui, Marketing Director Europe at Moog, says the expert sessions, which will be held in meeting rooms away from the stand, will help the company give current and future customers an increased awareness of the capability and willingness of Moog to design, prototype and co-develop electro-mechanical and hybrid solutions with them, from components to full machine control solutions. “We want to demonstrate our ability to customize solutions, as well as illustrate our expertise in developing new motion control concepts,” he says.

El-Henaoui adds: “Moog helps customers develop electro-mechanical motion control solutions that allow them to quickly validate and implement their machine design. This is very much a two-way street though, and while we have a great deal of expert knowledge, implementation works best if we can get inside the customer’s head, so to speak. That is what we are planning to do in these expert sessions. Getting a better understanding of customer applications helps us create more value for them.”
