Aircare engineering manager receives 20-year service award
Aircare Compressor Services Ltd’s engineering manager, John Robinson, has received an award from Brian Bennett, chairman & founder of the company, having completed 20 years of service with the company.
Robinson started his career with the Corby and Nottingham–based firm following an early career mainly in plant maintenance. His very first role in 1988 was working on Hydrovane rotary vane diesel driven air compressors.
Robinson joined the Aircare Service Team on the 15.12.1997; Aircare’s seventh year in business. As Aircare continued to grow, so did Robinson’s ability and knowhow – not only in compressed air.
As well as being an accomplished engineer trained in Hydrovane-, CompAir- and Gardner Denver equipment, Robinson also excels in nitrogen generation equipment engineering, the programming of electronic controllers and Energair control systems and many other associated projects driven by Aircare’s diverse client base. Despite this, Robinson comments that he still loves his Hydrovanes – “Made in England, always evolving and reliable”.
During a recent staff meeting, it was calculated that during his time at Aircare Robinson has also completed over 50 training courses and carried out approximately 14,000 compressor services.
