Neilson Hydraulics expands with Hatz Engines
South Yorkshire-based Neilson Hydraulics is expanding its range of engine driven hydraulic power units to incorporate Hatz silent pack engines.
The specialist engineering company, situated in close proximity to the world-class Advanced Manufacturing Park, specialises in designing and manufacturing an extensive range of hydraulic power units at its factory in Sheffield.
There are currently three units within this range, incorporating medium and high-pressure units, alongside the company’s hydrostatic closed loop system. The medium pressure unit offers a maximum pressure of up to 280 bar while the high-pressure and hydrostatic sets rise to 420 bar. All three products are powered by the latest Hatz silent pack, 2 cylinder, 3 cylinder and 4 cylinder, diesel engines. Also available are budget and mid-range units, powered by an electric motor.
Neilson Hydraulics has been designing, building, installing and commissioning hydraulic power units for over 30 years, covering a wide range of applications across a variety of sectors, including oil, gas, petrochemical, marine, offshore, material handling, recycling, agriculture, rail, quarrying, construction, injection moulding, steel, mining and water authority. The company also manufactures custom-made hydraulic power units, built in accordance with client specifications to add new innovations to the industry.
John Yarnall, managing director at Neilson Hydraulics and Engineering Ltd., said: “The range of Hatz silent pack engines provides us with a high-quality and very reliable engine, which integrates seamlessly into our high-quality engineered range of hydraulic power units.”
