New CEO for Danfoss
After nine years as the CEO of Danfoss, with increasing growth and a digital transformation on track, Danfoss’s CEO Niels B. Christiansen has decided to leave Danfoss. COO Kim Fausing, who has worked closely together with Christiansen in the Executive Committee, will become the new CEO.
Fausing commented: "I have felt at home in Danfoss from day one, and it will be an exciting challenge to continue the journey in the role of CEO. In the management team, we have defined the strategy and future direction for Danfoss and we will continue to follow the plans we’ve laid out. I am looking forward to the new tasks, which I will pursue with great respect. And I look forward to continuing the development of Danfoss together with the strong Danfoss team and the Board of Directors.”
Christiansen commented: "We have focused the business, optimised the engine room, we are growing, and our digital transformation is on track. It has been a huge team effort to conduct such a fundamental transformation. I am pleased to hand over a strong Danfoss in the best shape knowing that it will be in good hands. The time is right – both for Danfoss and for me. I am ready to take on new challenges – what exactly I haven’t decided yet.”
