Southern Manufacturing & Electronics raises the bar for 2017
The Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2017 exhibition (together with AutoAero) opens its doors this year on 21, 22 and 23 March at FIVE, Farnborough. With stand bookings in the last quarter of 2016 and into the New Year reaching unprecedented levels, the event looks likely to be a sell-out.
Over 650 national and international exhibitors are returning again with a clear post-Referendum message that rather than sit and wait for things to happen they would prefer to go out and make them happen.
For exhibitors in March there are even more reasons than ever to be buoyant. Visitor pre-registration levels are already up on last year and while the low Pound is adding a competitive edge to exports and further boosting on-shoring movement, now would seem to be the ideal time to take advantage.
Southern Manufacturing & Electronics attracts more than 8500 national and international exhibitors from a diverse range of industries, delivering tens of millions of Pounds worth of new business every year.
There is also more good news for the show around the corner. 2070 sees the completion by Farnborough International of the new and bigger purpose-built venue at the site, which is ready to change the face of the events industry in the South. As the first exhibition to be staged there in early 2018, it offers Southern Manufacturing & Electronics and AutoAero the opportunity to take further advantage of the site's international links and accessibility. Exhibitors at the 2017 exhibition will be given first priority of preserving stands at the 2018 event.
One event, thousands of solutions
Three key industrial events under one roof give visitors an opportunity to see thousands of design, engineering, procurement and production solutions in a single visit. Southern Manufacturing & Electronics and AutoAero 2017 bring together a compelling selection of top-name companies from UK, Europe and beyond.
Over 800 leading industry suppliers will exhibit at this year’s show, demonstrating innovative mechanical and electronic components, manufacturing hardware, production and contract manufacturing solutions.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see the latest in machinery, tooling, design, production and logistics, and meet the top names specialising in precision engineering, automotive/aerospace, defence, electronics, EMS, Marine, medical technology and more.
