Eaton expands FD85 Series of quick disconnect couplings

15 February, 2017

Eaton has expanded its FD85 series of robust quick disconnect couplings, which help prevent downtime caused by leakages, pressure drops and contamination of hydraulic fluid in industrial and mobile equipment, oil & gas and construction applications.

The couplings are now also available in 1 ¼in and 2in body sizes, meaning engineers have more flexibility and choice of coupling to best suit their application. There are now six sizes in the thread to connect FD85 Series, ranging from ¾in to 2in, and all carry a Lloyd's Registry Certificate for oil and gas applications as standard.

“The expansion of the FD85 Series will provide our customers with more sizing choices for the reliable products they already count to deliver maximum system uptime,” said Ron Molijn, product sales manager, EMEA, Eaton. “The Lloyd's Registry certification delivers the additional peace of mind that comes from knowing that the products have been proven through a very intense, standardised testing process.”
