MP Filtri’s Version 2.0 in-line contamination monitor now available
MP Filtri has launched the new ICM 2.0 in-line contamination monitor, which includes improved features such as:
• Additional option of a USB port for direct download from the ICM.
• Secondary connector to allow the simultaneous control/ download of results during operation.
• Added 4-20mA output as standard.
• Multi-colour indicators via LCD (K versions).
• LED with output alarm signals now as standard.
• Increased maximum working pressure 420 bar.
The ICM 2.0 in-line contamination monitor is designed specifically to be mounted directly on to systems where ongoing measurement or analysis is required, and is ideal for conditions where space and cost is limited.
It automatically measures and displays particulate contamination, moisture and temperature levels in various hydraulic fluids. This allows users the flexibility to carry out their own analysis and inspection.
MP Filtri comments that in all sectors of industry – in particular aircraft, automotive and mobile – it is becoming increasingly important for cleanliness specifications to be adhered to. The need to reduce downtime is bigger than ever, and to maintain quality and consistency is key.
The company adds that manufacturers are now being required to meet more ambitious cleanliness standards for their products and systems to be certified. MP Filtri concludes that to have a contamination monitoring system in place is essential to be able to achieve the required standards.
