New Dublin Parker Store provides enhanced products for industry

18 December, 2011

Parker Hannifin has partnered with Rotate Brammer, part of Europe’s leading distributor of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products and services, by opening a new ParkerStore and further expanding its Irish network of stores. The new ParkerStore, within Rotate Brammer’s Dublin Sales & Service Centre, opened on 6th October and has already attracted a considerable number of business professionals keen to browse the wide range of Parker pneumatic, hydraulic, seals and filtration products on offer.

The ParkerStore concept has been pioneered by Parker Hannifin, both as a tool for helping key independent distributors expand their business operations, and as a method of getting the company's extensive range of products to end users even more quickly and efficiently.

The new Dublin store opened its doors giving customers the chance to attend Parker product presentations, browse the store’s extensive range of quality innovative products and also meet the ParkerStore team for informal technical advice. The launch was well attended and proved highly successful for the large number of engineers and buyers from trade and industry present. Complimentary refreshments were provided throughout the day with the added attraction of a prize draw for an iPad2 scooped by one lucky winner.

Chris Davies, General Manager for Brammer in Ireland, commented, “We see our partnership with Parker as an integral part of both our business strategies to optimise availability and service to customers in the area. Customers can now benefit from rapid off-the-shelf delivery of quality Parker components, enabling them to reduce their stockholding and working capital as well as the ability to access enhanced services, which will directly benefit our customers.”

Seamus Fenlon, Distribution Manager for Parker in Ireland added, "The ParkerStore programme offers all our distribution partners a proven business model that they can develop for use in their local areas. It offers real value both to the store operator and to their customers, bringing Parker technology and expertise within easy reach of everybody involved in the field of motion and control, regardless of the operation they run."

There is now an extensive network of ParkerStores worldwide and Parker already boasts 2,700 outlets.
