BFPA’s Brexit poll
In April BFPA and BFPDA members were asked for their company’s view on whether the UK should remain a member of the EU or leave. In this poll, 43 per cent reported that their company wished to remain a member of the EU and 12 per cent stated their company wished to leave the EU. However a very high proportion, 45 per cent, reported they did not know what their company’s position was.
Q: Does your company think the United Kingdom should remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?
BFPA held a BREXIT debate alongside the AGM on 11 May, when several well informed speakers put the arguments for both sides and there was plenty of opportunity for members to ask questions, hopefully helping some of those who have not yet decided, make up their minds on how to vote on 23 June.
