Flowtechnology UK extends choice of malleable iron fittings

15 April, 2016

To coincide with the launch of its new 2016/17 catalogue, Flowtechnology UK (FTUK) has now extended its existing ranges of malleable iron (FTM, George Fischer and Crane) to include two new brands – K-Line Connect and EE – providing an even wider choice of malleable iron to suit any application and any budget.

K-Line Connect

K-Line Connect is a new elite brand of banded malleable iron fittings with 19 fitting variations. The range has WRAS approval, British Kitemark accreditation and is also manufactured according to EN10142 and designed to ISO10242.

EE

A popular European brand of beaded malleable iron fittings with 26 fitting variations. All fittings are manufactured according to EN10142 and designed to ISO10242.

Malleable iron fittings are the most commonly used pipe fittings in the world, known for their durability and mechanical strength. The fittings are used for various systems including compressed air, water supply, central heating, sprinkler systems and air conditioning, as well as gas and steam systems. They are also used to convey non-aggressive liquids and gases. FTUK sell both banded and beaded ranges;

Banded range

• BSPT Male, BSPT Female – EN10226-2.

• British Kitemark.

• Available in black or galvanised finish.

• Choice of two heavy duty brands: Crane or K-Line Connect.

Beaded range

• Male Taper, Female Parallel – EN10226-1.

• Available in black or galvanised finish.

• Choice of two heavy duty brands: GF and EE.

• Heavy duty ranges manufactured in accordance with EN 10142.

The choice of fittings is very much dependant on the application, the engineer’s preference and budget. With a choice of five brands, large stocks and speedy delivery, there is no need to look any further.
