Fluid Power & Systems and Air-Tech 2018 Update
Fluid Power & Systems 2018 – exhibitor taster
Just some of the exhibitors that have already signed up for Fluid Power & Systems 2018 include the following:
BFPA
Chris Buxton, CEO of the British Fluid Power Association, commented on the Association’s decision to exhibit again at Fluid Power & Systems: “As we come to the half-way mark in the two-year Brexit negotiations, the need to be visible in the UK fluid power market is all the greater. There is no better event for the fluid power market than Fluid Power & Systems; thus, BFPA will be present at the 2018 outing with a larger than normal pavilion augmented with a dedicated Distributor pavilion co-located in the centre of Hall 8.”
Custom Fittings
At Fluid Power & Systems 2018, Custom Fittings will be showing its latest catalogue featuring the company’s range of aerospace adaptors conforming to all the relevant standards. Custom Fittings will also exhibit its full range of stainless steel 316 JIC adaptors with both DNV GL and LLOYDS type approval. Additionally, the company will show its hose end fittings suitable for hoses in PTFE, thermoplastic, FRIA, through to FR13. Custom Fittings’ sales director, Mark Crowther, commented that the company is currently venturing into new markets and creating a strong client base within the aerospace industry.
IMI Precision Engineering
Visitors to Fluid Power & Systems in 2018 will be able to experience hands-on IMI Precision Engineering’s all-new product ranges. These include ISOLine, a lightweight range of ISO VDMA pneumatic cylinders featuring the company’s unique Adaptive Cushioning System (ACS); and Excelon Plus – a modular range of air preparation equipment manufactured at IMI Precision Engineering’s largest UK factory near Lichfield. Priding itself in its commitment to customer service, IMI Precision Engineering will also be using the show to officially launch its new mobile app to the UK market. IMI Norgren Express App is designed to reduce the time engineers and maintenance supervisors spend finding or ordering replacement pneumatic parts. Of particular excitement is its new Valve Island configurator designed to make significant time savings when fully configuring even the most complex of valve islands.
Metal Work
The Metal Work Group will be celebrating its 50-year anniversary at Fluid Power & Systems 2018 by showing that it is now fully integrated into the mechatronic world. Visitors will be able to see the company’s range of electric drives incorporating the ISO 15552 and Round DC ranges. The motors are selected from an optimised range encompassing both stepper and brushless types. Continuing with the electric theme, visitors will be able to see the SHAK belt-driven electric axis, which is available in two different sizes; SHAK 340 and SHAK 470, and the latest SHAK Gantry System. The SVAK Axis, SK Axis and the BK Axis are all featured completing Metal Work’s range of electric drives. All products are designed to suit Metal Work’s V-Lock Assembly system. Metal Work will also show the new eMotion, an electronic programable device designed to control electric pulse train motors. A complete range of actuators, grippers and slides are also available in the Metal Work Mechatronic range, together with the EB 80 valve island.
