Asco Numatics expands fluid automation portfolio with 652 Series FRLs

Asco Numatics has introduced its 652 Series filter, regulator, and lubricator (FRL) line of air preparation products. The 652 Series features high flow characteristics and the widest high- and low-temperature ratings of any FRL – making it suitable for a broad range of applications.
Chris Walsh, UK sales manager for Asco Numatics, commented that, with its particularly high flow rates, the all-new 652 Series FRL “assures original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and maintenance managers that air preparation products from Asco Numatics will optimise their machine performance”. In addition, he added that the 652 Series’ extended high- and low-temperature capabilities (-40degC to 80degC) “allow it to be specified across a broad range of applications, including those within harsh environments”.  
These modular FRL products have a robust construction and are easy to assemble, mount, and position. In addition, their new manifold endplate flanges allow the maintenance technician to pull the manifold assembly out of service without disconnecting the piping. The product line is available in three port sizes ranging from 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch (NPTF, G, or R threads).

The new EBR-PN bridge pull handle from Elesa enables use of remote air control for interlocking, multiple latching systems etc. where electrical systems are not considered safe or where they may be subject to corrosion. Push button operation of the integral valve, together with manually gripping the handle permits one-handed opening of doors, equipment, safety guards etc.

Beko Technologies’ Metpoint OCV monitoring system has been successfully validated from BfArM (German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices) as a method to determine residual oil content within medical compressed air. The validation has been executed and achieved within a strong co-operation project of a global gas company and Beko Technologies.

Chicago Pneumatic boosts its ½” metal impact wrenches

Chicago Pneumatic has launched a new series of CP7736 ½” metal impact wrenches, to deliver more durability, power and user comfort for maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) applications. The compact CP7736 offers 670ft-lbs (900Nm) of torque, which is 20 per cent more than its predecessor, and has the best price performance ratio of its class on the market. As such, MRO professionals can operate more efficiently and increase their productivity.


Powerful stopper cylinder from Festo

Festo has launched the DFSP, a series of stopper cylinders which is claimed to be able to withstand up to 200 per cent more impact force than its predecessors. According to the company, this means engineers can now benefit from a more powerful stopper but at an affordable price.
