Atlas Copco powers the drive for green hydrogen production

Where hydrogen quality is paramount, the H2P series of oil-free hydrogen compressors meets the stringent ISO Class Zero standard and are designed to work directly with the electrolyzer installation. The H2P reciprocating compressors are designed for continuous, reliable, and safe power-to-gas operations, and help keep costs in check with their low maintenance requirements. In addition to standard packages, they can be customised to meet specific process application compression requirements and are suitable for easy transportation inside a standard 40 feet container.

Atlas Copco’s high pressure H2Y hydraulic hydrogen compressor packages are suitable for applications in the mobility sector, where they ensure reliability and optimum uptime for the user. This technology supports trucks and ground transport, trains and rail transport, airports, and aviation sectors in their mission to supply cleaner fuel for a sustainable future. The hydrogen compressor packages supply both ‘fast fill’ large flow H2 filling stations as well as daughter stations employed in a virtual gas pipeline.

All Atlas Copco packages include safe instrumentation and control loops. To guarantee installation safety, all solutions meet major international and local safety codes, and each compressor unit is pre-wired and fully tested with helium before it is installed in the field.
