Hydramatic (Somerset) wins Apprenticeships award

At the recent 2017 Somerset Apprenticeship awards ceremony, Hydramatic (Somerset) Ltd. was announced as Winner of the new Apprenticeships award. The evening celebrates all that is great about apprenticeships and traineeships and the individuals and employers who continually strive for excellence.


Hydramatic (Somerset)’s managing director Simon Squire said to further assist the recent addition of a new area sales manager, Martin Boyle, the company looked at how best to expand on the team. “Coming from an apprenticeship background myself, we contacted Richard Huish College to discuss a business administration apprentice,” Squire explained.

He continued: “Charlotte Kingston joined the company in October last year to take on various roles within the sales office; from being trained on Sage Accounts and creating quotes to taking office phone calls. Her current main role involves helping to develop the company’s new website, which is due to be launched this month (April). The new website will feature more of the core products Hydramatic (Somerset) Ltd. has added to our portfolio.”
