WEBER SYSTEMS GROUP Restructures Management for the Future

WEBER SYSTEMS GROUP

Christine Grotz und Yannick Weber im Produktionsumfeld

WEBER-HYDRAULIK GMBH is finalising the succession plan for its management team. Effective immediately, Christine Grotz is handing over overall operational responsibility to Yannick Weber. The former Chief Operating Officer (COO) will assume leadership of the group as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Christine Grotz will step down from the executive board in the spring of 2027 and join the advisory board. As a shareholder, she will remain closely connected to the company.

The leadership transition has been planned well in advance and will be implemented in a structured manner over the coming months. With Yannick Weber assuming the role of CEO, a key step has already been completed. Effective 1 January 2027, Jochen Strauß, currently with MLOG Logistics GmbH, will also join the executive board as Chief Corporate Officer (CCO).

Going forward, the company will continue to operate under a dual leadership structure with a clear division of responsibilities: As CEO, Yannick Weber will assume operational leadership of the group as well as responsibility for the locations and production-related areas. As CCO, Jochen Strauß will be responsible in particular for the group’s administrative functions and the further development of group-wide processes.

“It was important to me to arrange the succession early and reliably. Yannick Weber knows our corporate group, our locations, and our markets very well. With Jochen Strauß, we are gaining an experienced executive who sensibly complements the future leadership structure. I will remain closely connected to the company,” explains Christine Grotz, Managing Partner of WEBER-HYDRAULIK GMBH.

Yannick Weber has been a member of the management team since 2024 and, as Technical Managing Director, is responsible for production and plant-related operations at all locations. In his future role as CEO, he will combine this operational experience with overall responsibility for the corporate group.

“We will continue to lead the group with a clear division of responsibilities and a shared vision for its long-term development. For our employees, customers, and partners, this carefully planned transition and the new leadership structure above all represent reliability and continuity,” explains Yannick Weber.

The change in operational leadership does not entail any change in the ownership structure. Christine Grotz will remain a managing partner until she steps down from the executive board in the spring of 2027 and will then join the advisory board.

“It is particularly important to me and the entire family that the company remains autonomous and independent. We have once again expressly reaffirmed this commitment as part of the planning for my retirement. The younger generations also support this path,” explains Grotz.

The strategic direction of the corporate group and its business divisions will be consistently pursued. The future management structure establishes clear lines of responsibility and ensures continuity in corporate leadership.
