Stainless steel lockout valve targets harsh environments

Versa has launched its new C-316 Series Stainless Steel NAMUR Lockout Valve, a direct-mount actuator control solution suitable for fluid power applications requiring dependable isolation, corrosion resistance and long-term operational reliability.
Designed for direct NAMUR actuator mounting, the C-316 Series allows the valve to be mechanically locked in either the energised or de-energised position during maintenance procedures or plant shutdowns. When not in a locked position, the valve functions as a standard electrically operated actuator control valve.
The new C-316 Series was developed to support industrial environments where exposure to moisture, corrosive atmospheres, washdown conditions, and aggressive process media can impact
valve performance and service life.
Featuring 316L stainless steel bodies, actuator caps, plungers, springs, and internal components, the valve is built to withstand demanding operating conditions commonly found in chemical
processing, oil & gas, power generation, marine, and process automation facilities
Standard FKM (fluorocarbon) seals provide compatibility across a broad range of temperatures and media, while available solenoid configurations support both general-purpose and hazardous
location requirements.
