Tom Parker presses on with new development in Preston

In the course of just six months, industry-leading distributor of quick connect couplings, Tom Parker Ltd., has spent in excess of £600,000 increasing the size of its Preston-based distribution facility to 45,000 square feet, including 4,000 square feet of new office space and 17,000 square feet of storage.

Enabling a better connection with customers
 
With over 35 years’ experience, Tom Parker is renowned throughout the industry for its unrivalled and comprehensive range of connection solutions for pneumatic, hydraulic, water and gas applications. And the expansion of the site will enable the company to provide an even better service to customers by keeping the majority of its 25,000 high quality fluid power products in stock, providing a faster turnaround on orders of practically any quantity.
While extra workshop space will also facilitate the assembly, testing and certification of pneumatic (up to 500 PSI) and hydraulic hose (up to 30,000 PSI) including the fast replacement of hose assemblies.
 
Making things easier all round
 
The new extension to the existing site is further evidence of the emphasis the company places upon making ordering and delivery easy and flexible for its customers.
A fully-stocked trade counter, meanwhile, makes life even easier with knowledgeable staff to source the right connection solution with the minimum of fuss.
