DFA Media gears-up for biggest co-located stable of events yet

Exhibition & conference organiser, DFA Media Ltd., will again be staging its well-established and highly complementary stable of leading co-located exhibitions at Birmingham's NEC from 8 to 10 April 2014. The free-to-attend co-located DFA Media shows are currently up on contracted exhibitors by 57 per cent compared with the 2012 shows, while contracted floor space is up 102 per cent. The 2012 exhibitions attracted the highest visitor numbers up to that point; totalling 11,146 for the three days. This represented an increase of 29 per cent from the 8624 attendance figure of the 2010 shows, highlighting a significant return of confidence to the UK manufacturing sector. Another advantage is that the DFA Media shows will again be co-located with the ever popular MACH Exhibition and National Electronics Week – jointly anticipated to bring over 40,000 visitors to the NEC in 1 week. Fluid Power & Systems, with the full support of the British Fluid Power Association (BFPA), is the only exhibition in the UK totally focused on hydraulics, pneumatics, systems and related equipment, and as such should be on the must-exhibit list for fluid power system manufacturers and distributors. Air-Tech, with full support from the British Compressed Air Society (BCAS), is the UK's only dedicated event for the compressed air and generators market. Air power is the second most widely used source of motive energy in the world, preceded only by electricity. Air-Tech fully caters for this need. Drives & Controls will again bring together key suppliers of state-of-the-art equipment representing the multi-tasking culture of today's design engineer, covering critical areas such as energy efficiency, machine safety, drives, motion control and automation plus much more, all under one roof.
