New hydraulic reservoirs offer integrated cooling benefits

Cast aluminium hydraulic reservoirs from R+L Hydraulics combine large usable volumes with integrated cooling performance and low weight.
The company has introduced cast aluminium hydraulic reservoirs in NG130, offering a usable volume of 123 litres. According to R+L Hydraulics, the calculated thin-walled design provides an integrated cooling capacity of 2.1 kW at a temperature of 40°C.
“This is the only aluminium tank of its kind. In many cases, there is no need to use an oil cooler,” says Patrick Laupitz, Sales Manager at R+L Hydraulics Germany.
Weighing just 25 kg, the unpainted reservoirs are easy to handle thanks to their low weight, while their stackable design helps save transportation costs and storage space.
In addition to the NG130 model, R+L Hydraulics supplies hydraulic reservoirs with usable volumes starting from 3 litres.
All containers are available with optional accessories including lids, oil level indicators, cast feet, swivel castors, and filling and ventilation filters. The NG130 is also available with baffle plates.
