Strainsense has announced it has expanded its range of pressure measurement solutions with the availability of the SA89EBH miniature pressure transmitter, a compact, high-performance sensor designed for demanding commercial and industrial applications where accuracy, reliability and space-saving design are essential.
Engineered for applications requiring precise pressure measurement in a lightweight, miniature package, the SA89EBH is suitable for monitoring both liquid and gas pressures across a wide variety of industries. Its robust construction allows it to perform reliably in challenging environments, making it ideal for use with contaminated water, hydraulic systems, brake fluids and mildly corrosive media.
At the heart of the transmitter is advanced MEMS sensing technology, delivering excellent measurement stability across a wide operating temperature range. The sensor incorporates a silicon-based strain gauge that is isolated from the process media by an oil-filled capsule and stainless steel diaphragm. This design provides outstanding long-term stability, excellent repeatability and minimal hysteresis, ensuring consistent and accurate measurements throughout its service life.
The SA89EBH also features a stainless steel media isolation system, providing exceptional durability and resistance to all but the most corrosive environments. This robust construction makes it well suited to demanding industrial installations where reliability is critical.
The transmitter is available in gauge and absolute pressure ranges from 0–5 bar to 0–350 bar, with a 0.5 to 4.5 VDC amplified output. A choice of pressure connections, cable lengths and fittings enables the sensor to be tailored to a wide range of installation requirements, while custom configurations are also available for specialist applications.
