Quick delivery time in EMEA for Eaton motors

25 September, 2015

Power management company Eaton has located the assembly and testing of its Char-Lynn Low Speed High Torque (LSHT) orbital motors in Havant, UK, and now offers lead times of as little as three weeks.

Rick Jacobs, president of Eaton’s hydraulics business in EMEA commented: “This major investment enables Eaton to significantly reduce lead times for our Char-Lynn LSHT orbital motors, offering a valuable advantage to our customers.”

For a wide variety of mobile applications

Orbital motors, also known as Gerotor/Geroler motors, are used in a wide variety of mobile applications, such as those found in construction and agricultural machinery, as well as industrial conveyors and plastic injection moulding equipment.

“As one of the largest manufacturers of orbital motors, Eaton has become synonymous with the quality and robustness of this technology,” said John Taylor, EMEA product manager, Eaton. “With an established global after-sales support network, Eaton gives OEMs across EMEA a superb choice.”

Popular builds of the Char-Lynn H/T spool valve motors and 2K/4K disc valve motors are now readily available on fast lead times across EMEA. Custom builds, integrating specific shafts, mounting flanges, ports, etc, will be phased in with similar lead times as volumes rise.
