Tom Parker expands Preston distribution facility
In the course of just six months, distributor of quick connect couplings, Tom Parker, has spent in excess of £600,000 increasing the size of its Preston-based distribution facility to 45,000 sq ft, including 4000 sq ft of new office space and 17,000 sq ft of storage.
The company reports that the expansion of the site will enable it to provide an even better service to customers by keeping the majority of its 25,000 fluid power products in stock, providing a faster turnaround on orders of practically any quantity.
Extra workshop space will also facilitate the assembly, testing and certification of pneumatic (up to 500 PSI) and hydraulic hose (up to 30,000 PSI), including the fast replacement of hose assemblies.
