CompAir extends the L-RS range of regulated speed compressors from 7.5kW to 250kW (March 2011)

17 March, 2011

CompAir has extended its portfolio of regulated speed rotary screw compressors to offer a complete range of energy efficient machines from 7.5kW to 250kW.

Using the same product platform as its fixed speed units, CompAir now offers a comprehensive choice of compressors to suit the application; using its advanced oil-injected screw technology already proven in thousands of applications worldwide.
Power consumption has been considered at every stage to ensure that the machines can meet the wide variation in air demand necessary in modern processes, with energy savings of up to 25% achievable.
Each compressor features a tried and tested inverter. This helps to minimise energy use, as the unit produces the right volume of air required by the factory network at all times. As a result, no energy is lost due to the compressor idling in off load mode, resulting in lower power usage and also, reduced wear and tear on key components.
This invertor is integrated in to an electric cabinet and protected from dust by a replaceable inlet filter, ensuring high reliability and long life.
Compressors from 7.5 kW to 22 kW are available as an airstation, which includes a refrigerant dryer and air receiver in a compact footprint, making them ideal for smaller operations.
All models offer low noise levels, allowing the compressor to be sited at the point of use, saving time and cost as there is no need to house the unit in a separate room or install additional pipework.
Efficient control
Units are available with 2 types of compressor controllers, depending on the model.
As standard, the L07RS-L22RS range features the integrated Delcos Pro intelligent controller. This continuously monitors the operating parameters to ensure maximum productivity, offering a range of programmable inputs and outputs, with clear, readable text.
L30RS-L132RS models are available with the new Delcos XL controller, a built-in; easy-to-use touch screen controller that displays detailed system analysis without the need for additional monitoring devices. The controller’s service diagnostics feature enables compressor inputs and outputs to be tested, and provides quick identification of any faults, which can result in reduced downtime.
Low service costs
All serviceable components are grouped behind a lift-off canopy section with quick-release catches or hinged side doors. This allows engineers easier access to help reduce downtime and keep service costs to a minimum.
Easy-access suction filters, oil filters and final separators ensure long service life as well as high air quality.
CompAir also offers a wide range of optional extras, such as heat recovery, allowing users to tailor the compressor installation to suit requirements.
Free extended warranty
Every compressor in the range is supplied with CompAir’s Assure extended warranty which is provided free of charge up to 44,000 hours or 6 years.
