Cast aluminium hydraulic oil reservoirs from R+L Hydraulics

21 March, 2017

At this year’s Motion, Drive & Automation in Hannover, R+L Hydraulics GmbH will present its new line-up of cast aluminium hydraulic oil reservoirs. The expanded series of oil reservoirs are available in capacities ranging from 3.5 to 130 litres. The cast aluminium reservoirs are exceptional due to their low weight, easy maintenance and an affordable price/quality ratio.

Currently, the largest reservoir available in the standard series has a volume of 130 litres. Weighing only 25 kg, it has a usable capacity of 123 litres. Due to its low weight, the aluminium reservoir can be moved quite easily. Given the calculated thin-walled design of the reservoir, the NG 130 has a cooling capacity of 2.1 kW at 40degC ambient temperature. Hence the use of an oil cooler is unnecessary for many applications. All unpainted reservoirs of the series are stackable, accommodating the installation of baffles.

Aside from the standard range of aluminium reservoirs in volumes ranging from 3.5 to 130 litres, R+L Hydraulics also offers customised special reservoirs made of aluminium or steel, which according to their application may be prepared with special coatings.

In addition to aluminium reservoirs and accessories, R+L Hydraulics will present its range of hydraulic components of the Raja brand in Hannover. These include oil-water heat exchangers, oil-air heat exchangers, plate heat exchangers, cooling systems, bell housings with and without shock absorbers, shock absorbers and bell housings for cooling pumps, as well as couplings of the Lovejoy brand for power transmission and fluid technology applications.
