Gardner Denver distributor goes from strength to strength by championing genuine spare parts

A Gardner Denver compressed air service distributor, Mid-tech (air products) Ltd has moved to new sales offices in Willenhall to accommodate its growing business, which serves customers across the West Midlands region; a growth that is being attributed to the company’s commitment to championing genuine spare parts and service.

Having begun trading just two and a half months ago in September 2009, Mid-tech has gone from strength to strength with increased orders for manufacturer’s original components and aftermarket contracts for a range of compressors, including CompAir, Reavell and Hydrovane brands.

Graeme Anderson, Managing Director of Mid-tech said, “ We put the success of our young company down to three things, the support of our suppliers, such as Gardner Denver, our industry experience, which spans more than 30 years and our commitment to promoting genuine spare parts.

“Although demanding the lowest possible price is understandable in such a difficult financial climate, some customers are unaware of the damage non-genuine spare parts can cause. At Mid-tech we are committed to only supplying genuine spares rather than driving down costs by using components that are not from the original manufacturer and may be inferior in quality or, at worse, cause long-term damage to compressor performance.

Chris Hall, Sales Director for Gardner Denver adds, “Using non-genuine spare parts can be detrimental to equipment performance and at Gardner Denver, we are campaigning for more compressed air users to use manufacturer’s original components to help improve compressor reliability and longevity.

“Our distributor network is committed to reducing cost of ownership for customers and ensuring quality spare parts and oils are used, is one way that the industry can help to drive up standards.”
