Exitflex (UK) renamed Polyhose (UK)

08 March, 2017

Exitflex (UK) Ltd. has been renamed Polyhose (UK) Ltd. The Exitflex Group of companies, with distribution centres across Europe, Asia and the US, were acquired by Polyhose India (Pvt) Ltd. in 2009.

As the Exitflex Group progresses further into the world of hydraulic and other types of hose such as industrial and composite – all manufactured by Polyhose – Polyhose managing director Y J Shabbir commented that bringing these regional sales & distribution centres under the Polyhose brand was a natural step. He added that the Exitflex Group is also being streamlined and restructured to improve efficiency and enhance the Groups’ global appearance.

“Adjustments being made over the coming months – mostly relating to product ranges and processes – will ensure that the focus will be 100% orientated towards distribution of products manufactured within the Polyhose group,” said Shabbir.

Following the rebranding, all the company’s hydraulic, PTFE and industrial hoses will only carry the Polyhose brand in future, while the Exitflex brand will remain highly visible in markets where for over 40 years it has earned a respected position in the surface finishing industry for the manufacture of accessories and consumables – with a ‘top quality – best results’ ethos.

‘On the ground’ support

Marc Whibley, managing director of Polyhose (UK) Ltd., commented: “Polyhose India (Pvt) Ltd. relies on its UK team for ‘on the ground’ support, local experience, commitment and energy, while Polyhose (UK) Ltd. can be assured of ongoing development and manufacture of premium products in the constantly developing state-of-the-art manufacturing facility backed up by the technical knowhow to manage, measure and improve performance. Together, we are firmly committed to the vision of the Polyhose Group to become a true global leader in fluid transmission.”
