Distag QCS opens new tube manipulation facility

Distag QCS (UK) Ltd. has opened its new branch at J14 Business Park, Dungannon, Northern Ireland. Based in the heart of the Crushing & Screening manufacturing sites, the new trade counter can cater for customers’ urgent needs, backed up by Distag QCS’s high-volume assembly base in Lisburn.


The new branch has been fitted with some of the latest technology and machinery for manipulating steel tube, to the most demanding requirements. The company can now offer:

• Laser guide saw cutting, deburring, flaring and cutting ring assembly.

• Customer piping data import into SolidWorks, and processed by bespoke PipeFab software for maximum accuracy and repeatability.

• Precise tube manipulation with zero bend deformation achieved with retractable internal mandrels.

• Tube forming capacity: 6mm to 42mm, OD x 6m.

• Ends formed to international standards.

Distag QCS’s engineers are available to work with customers throughout the design stage, as an integral part of the project. The company can offer independent advice to help find the most appropriate solution to the hydraulic piping on customers’ machinery. Distag QCS can assist with the production of SolidWorks 3D models of the finished pipework, fittings and clamp placement.
