Ashton Seals appointed distributor for Parker Prädifa

11 August, 2016

Ashton Seals Ltd. has been appointed as a distributor for Parker Prädifa, the globally recognised designer, developer and manufacturer of sealing systems and engineered components made from polymer materials.

This agreement will provide Ashton Seals’ customers with access to the full range of products and technical support network of Parker Prädifa.

Ashton Seals’ technical director, Matthew Wood, commented: “The distribution agreement with Parker Prädifa represents an exciting step forward for the continued development of Ashton Seals. It also fits in perfectly with our new core company strategies for the next three years. These include strengthening our presence in the sealing technology industry, as well as branching into sectors where our market penetration is currently restricted.”

Expanded market penetration goal

Parker Prädifa supports a wide range of markets, including fluid power, automotive, oil & gas, life science, food & beverage and semiconductor. Ashton Seals states that its aim to expand its market penetration is well-supported by the Parker Prädifa product and application range.

In addition to standard sealing elements and sealing systems, the Parker Prädifa product portfolio encompasses a wide range of special profiles and geometries, as well as other engineered components, in- and outside sealing technology. The collaboration between the two companies will enable Ashton Seals to offer a variety of added-value services such as product testing, kitting and product identification.

Zoë Fearnley, managing director of Ashton Seals, commented: "As a leading supplier of sealing and engineering solutions, we are thrilled to enhance our existing product portfolio with the support of Parker Prädifa.”

Andy Hine, Parker Prädifa’s regional sales manager, North Europe, said: “Parker Prädifa is excited to announce this partnership with Ashton Seals, an agreement that will enable us to expand our reach and our service offering into additional markets.”
