Signatory build-up to IFPEX and Air-Tech continues

27 October, 2011

The latest signatories to the International Fluid Power Exhibition (IFPEX 2012) and Air-Tech 2012 include a number of leading industry names, among them: Allswage UK, Schwer UK, hydraPower dynamics and Vaisala.

Allswage UK recently announced that Resato High Pressure Technology has appointed Allswage UK as its distributor for high pressure hose test equipment and ancillaries; including a full range of high pressure air driven pumps, hand pumps and high pressure fittings and valves. These will be on show at IFPEX 2012.
Resato manufactures a range of hydrostatic hose testing machines up to 3650bar. The machines’ functions include: a multi hose test facility; a sequence of hose pre-fill, de-airing; pressurising and bleeding is performed without opening the cover, which is automatically controlled; burst test rigs with length; plus expansion and rotation measurement.
With Resato’s data acquisition (CR recording system), customers are able to print test certificates using a connection through their computer system.
According to Allswage UK, Resato’s air-driven, high-pressure pumps have proven to be reliable, while being used in adverse conditions in the offshore industry.
Schwer UK’s managing director, Wolfgang Moellers, said: “Schwer exhibited at IFPEX in 2008, and again in 2010. During our last attendance we were particularly impressed by the quality of the visitors. The people who were there were of a high calibre and were there to get something out of the show from a business perspective.
“Schwer UK has more than doubled its stock holding in the UK since 2008. Last year we introduced the interlock range of hose fittings, and because of their success we are now able to offer an even larger range. In fact, planned for 2012 is a further increase in overall production in the UK and across the Group.”

Full rebuild service and maintenance programme

hydraPower dynamics is the UK distributor for Finn-Power machinery ranges, which are ideally suited for both hydraulic and general industrial applications. The full range of Finn-Power swaging presses and hose cutting machines are available. hydraPower dynamics’ team of Finn-Power-trained service engineers can maintain, repair or service existing and new machinery. A full rebuild service and maintenance programme is available for all Finn-Power machines. hydraPower dynamics comments that regular attention to these vital machines often prolongs their life by many years. To further complement the Finn-Power range, the company also offers a range including saws, hose turntables, auto and manual skivers, cut-off machines and full assembly lines for hose production and assembly.
At Air-Tech 2012 Vaisala will present its extended range of instruments suitable for monitoring conditions in compressed air & drying applications. During 2011 Vaisala has launched the DMT132 which has been designed to cost-effectively monitor dew point in refrigerant dryers. By the time we meet at Air-Tech 2012 there will be even more to the collection of products suited for compressed air. Vaisala will also display moisture-in-oil instruments suitable for monitoring lubrication and hydraulics systems. The company’s range of instruments cover configurable fixed mount transmitters, OEM models as well as the popular lightweight 750g handheld instrument, the DM70.
Vaisala field sales engineer, Tracy Cleland, commented: “We are looking forward to exhibiting at Air-Tech 2012 as we find it provides us with contact to the people who use the compressed air and lubrication systems in their businesses and are looking at ways to improve their equipment’s efficiency and reliability.”
